A highly dangerous situation has shaken the community of El Lim\u00f3n de La Cuaba, in Santo Domingo, after it was revealed that the criminal known as Dargenis de Jes\u00fas, alias “El Sicario,” held a farmer captive on his own property. The victim, identified only as “Lebr\u00f3n,” was subjected to hours of anguish and physical violence under the control of this individual.<\/p>\n\n
According to information released by journalist Ram\u00f3n Tolentino, the aggressor used a portion of an adjacent farm, owned by figures close to the circle of former President Hip\u00f3lito Mej\u00eda, as an operations center for his illicit activities. According to reports, the location served as a refuge for committing serious crimes, including kidnappings and sexual assaults against minors.<\/p>\n\n
The criminal, who operated in the area under a climate of constant threat, demanded the victim pay RD$50,000.00 and hand over a hunting shotgun, motivated by the knowledge that the farmer’s relatives had recently returned from the United States. The situation reached critical levels when the perpetrator attempted to take the life of Mr. Lebr\u00f3n, being prevented only by the intervention of military personnel and civilians who were in the area.<\/p>\n\n\n
Given the gravity of the events and the danger these individuals pose to social peace, Ram\u00f3n Tolentino has issued an urgent call to President Luis Abinader and the Ministry of Defense. The request seeks to intensify intelligence and pursuit efforts to capture the members of this gang, who are keeping workers and residents of the rural area of Santo Domingo in a state of anxiety.<\/p>\n\n
