Hamilton Praises Ferrari’s Progress After Strong Qualifying in Austria<\/h2>\n\nThe driver Lewis Hamilton has expressed his satisfaction with the progress made by Ferrari, after obtaining his best qualifying position of the season at the Austrian Grand Prix. His teammate, Charles Leclerc, is optimistic and aims to challenge McLaren in the race.\n\nHamilton, who achieved a fourth place on the starting grid, acknowledged the team’s hard work. Leclerc, for his part, was placed on the front row of the grid, in second place.\n\nFerrari’s improvement is attributed to a new and updated floor on the car. So, for that, we should be proud of the work done,\u201d said Leclerc.<\/p>\n\nCharles Leclerc<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nRegarding the possibility of fighting for victory, Leclerc stated that he will give it his all. He acknowledged the gap with the leader, but is confident in the car’s performance with tire management.\n\nHamilton also mentioned that he feels he is getting closer in terms of performance to Leclerc, which contributed to his “really positive day”.\n\nRegarding breaking his podium drought with Ferrari, Hamilton stated that he hopes it doesn’t take 900 days to achieve it.\n\nThe increase in Ferrari’s performance comes at a time of growing pressure, especially on team principal Fred Vasseur.\n\nHamilton highlighted the team’s unity and teamwork to overcome challenges.\n\n\n
