With this interview, the Knicks have conducted formal interviews with three candidates. In addition to Nori, they have met with Mike Brown and Taylor Jenkins, both former head coaches.<\/p>\n
Nori, 51, has been an assistant in Minnesota since 2021, working under coach Chris Finch. The Timberwolves denied the Knicks permission to interview Finch for the position, sources confirmed.<\/p>\n
Nori has also worked as an assistant for the Detroit Pistons, Denver Nuggets, Sacramento Kings, and Toronto Raptors.<\/p>\n
Mike Brown, who previously coached the Kings, had already been interviewed by the Knicks in 2020, leaving a good impression before the team hired Tom Thibodeau.<\/p>\n
