The Venezuelan finished the night with two hits in five at-bats, scoring and driving in a run.\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Mets Attempt a Comeback<\/h2>\n\n\nThe Mets responded in the sixth inning with a home run by Juan Soto, who hit his 17th home run of the year, driving in two runs and bringing New York closer on the scoreboard.\n\nHowever, the comeback attempt was thwarted when Soto was struck out with runners on the corners in the eighth inning by lefty Dylan Lee, who retired the four batters he faced, earning his second career save.\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>It was a great relief from Lee, just when we needed it. Cutting that streak without saves was important.<\/p><cite>Braves Manager<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\nLee&#8217;s save was the first for Atlanta since May 16, breaking a 31-game save drought, the longest in franchise history.\n\nAtlanta improves to 4-0 against the Mets this season, maintaining their dominance over their divisional rival.
