Furthermore, it is alleged that the player transferred significant sums of money to the minor&#8217;s mother to obtain her consent.\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>The prosecution presented &#8220;convincing&#8221; and &#8220;conclusive&#8221; evidence in previous hearings.<\/p><cite>Dominican Prosecution<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nRegarding the minor&#8217;s mother, the prosecution has requested a 10-year prison sentence, accusing her of sexually trafficking her daughter.\n\nDocuments presented to the judge last year revealed that Franco, through his mother Yudelka Aybar, would have transferred one million pesos (approximately $17,000 dollars) to the minor&#8217;s mother on January 5, 2023, allegedly in exchange for her consent.\n\nFranco&#8217;s Major League career was interrupted in August 2023, when he was in his third season. Previously, he had signed an 11-year, $182 million contract in November 2021.
