The excitement of the Yokohama Grand Prix vibrated at the Las Am\u00e9ricas International Racetrack, despite the weather conditions. Christian \u201cEl Hurac\u00e1n\u201d Bonnet emerged as the outstanding figure of the event.\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Mastery on the Track<\/h2>\n\n\nBonnet demonstrated his skill in the Street Touring (ST) category, securing the victory with authority. In addition, he shared success in the Racing Sedan (RS) category with Jonathan Basden, accumulating an impressive record of three wins out of four possible, which earned him the title of the highest-scoring driver in the competition.\n\nIn the RS category, Jonathan Basden, starting from pole position, dominated the first race, closely followed by Bonnet and Giuseppe Rivas.\n\nThe second race, marked by rain, saw a change in leadership, with Bonnet crossing the finish line in first place, followed by Rivas and Basden.\n\nIn Street Touring, Bonnet, living up to his nickname, dominated both races from start to finish. In the first race, Farukc Husseim and Nicolas Warembourg completed the podium, while in the second, Manuel Susa\u00f1a and Jos\u00e9 Tonino Aybar joined Bonnet on the awards ceremony.\n\nThe event, under the supervision of the Dominican Federation of Automobilism (FDA) and the Dominican Federation of Motorcycling (FDM), offered a spectacle full of adrenaline.\n\nThe Stock Dominican Series (SDS) of the Dominican Circuit Runners Club (CDCC) presented two divisions. In the PRO, Vladimir Gonz\u00e1lez took the victory in the first race, followed by Kenny Guilbe and Yorkys Mateo. The second race was won by Jos\u00e9 Lora, with Mateo and Guilbe completing the podium.\n\nThe Amateur division saw Alexander Thebaud, Pedro Torres, and Alexis Roa triumph in the first race, while Aris Custodio, Torres, and Elian Mateo did so in the second.\n\nThe Turismo Nacional was won by Piero Perrone and Emmanuel Torres, who achieved victory in both races. Marcos Pichardo obtained a second place, while Mike Mckoy and Carlos Sansoucy also reached the podium, and Halim Gantus in the second race.\n\nThe Index category of Track Club RD, with two divisions, crowned Fernando Mojica Jr. as the winner in the TC 30, followed by N\u00e9stor Hidalgo and Franco Benoit. In the TC 32, Alexis Checo, Felix Esca\u00f1o, and Joan Puello were the winners.
