This sanction is due to an intentional pitch against batter Sal Stewart during Saturday&#8217;s game between the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Cincinnati Reds.<\/p>\n<p>The incident took place in the seventh inning at Pittsburgh&#8217;s PNC Park. MLB, through its senior vice president of on-field operations, communicated the disciplinary action.<\/p>\n<p>If Devenski doesn&#8217;t appeal the suspension, he will begin to serve it this Tuesday, when the Pirates begin a series as visitors against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
