This initiative, framed within the &#8220;Una Cancha Pa&#8217; Mi Barrio&#8221; program and within &#8220;Juventud con B de Barrio&#8221;, has the main objective of promoting healthy recreation and the integral development of young people.\n\nThe delivery act took place in the City Hall of Santo Domingo Norte and was attended by the Minister of Youth, Carlos Valdez, along with the mayor Betty Ger\u00f3nimo, local authorities, community leaders, and young beneficiaries.\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>These courts are a tool to boost talent, foster values, and continue building safer environments for our youth.<\/p><cite>Carlos Valdez, Minister of Youth<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nDuring his intervention, Minister Carlos Valdez emphasized that this program seeks to provide concrete opportunities to young people in their communities, through the creation of spaces suitable for sports practice and social interaction.\n\nMayor Betty Ger\u00f3nimo highlighted the City Hall&#8217;s participation in this project, explaining that the study carried out by the city council allowed for the precise identification of areas with the greatest need for sports facilities, thus facilitating a more effective intervention.
