\nThe Yankees’ pitcher struck out five batters and gave up two walks in the first inning, where he threw 29 pitches.
\nAfter issuing consecutive walks to Jordan Westburg and Gunnar Henderson, Schmidt struck out Ryan O’Hearn and retired Ram\u00f3n Laureano to finish the first inning.
\nSchmidt left the game after throwing 21 pitches in the seventh inning.
\nIn the closing of the game, JT Brubaker allowed the only hit for the Orioles.
