Raymond Rodr\u00edguez, executive vice president of Grupo GBC Pharmacies, highlighted the importance of this edition, which is dedicated to former major leaguer Stanley Javier.\n\nRodr\u00edguez expressed his hope that this event will serve as a platform for university athletes to develop both in the sports and academic fields, aspiring to a successful professional career.\n\nFor a month, nine university teams will compete at the Cibao Stadium, an emblematic venue for Dominican baseball.
