This weekend, Ne\u00f3n will become the country&#8217;s most recent representative to debut in the Major Leagues.\n\nHis much-anticipated debut will take place this Friday in Boston, in the match between the Boston Red Sox and the Detroit Tigers, which will be held at the iconic Fenway Park.\n\nF\u00e9lix Ne\u00f3n is an example of discipline and perseverance. His arrival in the Major Leagues confirms the quality of the umpiring development in our country.\n\nVitelio Mej\u00eda Ortiz, president of the Dominican Republic Professional Baseball League\n\nNeon has been trained in the system of the Dominican Republic Professional Baseball League (LIDOM). His career includes his time at the Baseball Umpires Development Academy (ADAB) and his experience in the Dominican Summer League.\n\nIn 2019, he participated in an MLB camp in Myrtle Beach and, a year later, joined the Umpire Training Academy in Vero Beach, Florida.\n\nAlthough his debut in minor leagues was planned for 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic delayed the start of his career.
