Roldan highlights the opportunity for US midfielders against Belgium and Portugal<\/h2>\n\nUnited States midfielder Cristian Roldan has stated that the upcoming friendly matches against Belgium and Portugal represent a “great opportunity” for USMNT midfielders to prove their worth. This is especially relevant in the absence of his injured teammate, Tyler Adams.\n\nThe American team is at its training camp in Marietta, Georgia, preparing for friendlies against Belgium on March 28 and Portugal three days later. He highlighted the need for players who can guide the team in moments of pressure.\n\nRoldan also spoke about the competition with newer players in the group, such as Villarreal defender Alex Freeman, and said that his ability as a complete player firmly places him in the fight for a place in the World Cup team.\n\n\n
