From there, the peloton faced a route that, despite the adverse weather conditions, demonstrated the passion and endurance of the cyclists.\n\nThe route took the competitors through Bonao, Maim\u00f3n and Cotu\u00ed, highlighting the passage through the Hatillo dam, an emblematic point that offered impressive views.\n\nOne of the hydration points was located in Fantino before starting the return to La Vega to complete the route.\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n\n<p>Each edition confirms that road cycling in the Dominican Republic continues to grow. This event not only promotes the sport, but also allows us to showcase the beauty of our roads and landscapes to the world.
