This support extends to their participation in the upcoming Olympic Games in Los Angeles, demonstrating the government&#8217;s commitment to sports and the international promotion of the Dominican Republic.\n\nThe announcement was made at LoanDepot Park, during the World Baseball Classic semi-final between the Dominican Republic and the United States.\n\nCollado explained that this initiative is part of a strategy to boost sports tourism and strengthen the country&#8217;s image globally.\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n\n<p>\u201cThe Ministry of Tourism is going to strongly support the Federation for the Los Angeles Olympics.
