This initiative is part of the government&#8217;s commitment to support sports and promote the Dominican Republic internationally.\n\nThe announcement was made at LoanDepot Park, during the World Baseball Classic semi-final, where the Dominican Republic faced the United States.\n\nCollado explained that this support is part of a comprehensive strategy to promote sports tourism and strengthen the nation&#8217;s image abroad.\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n\n<p>\u201cThe Ministry of Tourism is going to strongly support the Federation for the Los Angeles Olympics.
