The Football Association (FA) has charged him with a doping violation, which could result in a suspension of up to four years.\n\nThe 24-year-old player was provisionally suspended in December after testing positive for meldonium, a performance-enhancing substance.\n\nThe club was awaiting the results of a test on sample &#8216;B&#8217; to confirm or refute the initial results of sample &#8216;A&#8217;. The FA announced on Wednesday that the Ukrainian player could now face additional sanctions.\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>&#8220;We can confirm that Mykhailo Mudryk has been charged with violations of anti-doping rules, alleging the presence and\/or use of a prohibited substance, in terms of Rules 3 and 4 of the FA Anti-Doping Regulations,&#8221; the FA said in a statement. &#8220;As this is an ongoing case, we are not in a position to make any further comment at this time.&#8221;<\/p><cite>Football Association<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nChelsea has not issued comments on the FA&#8217;s latest action.
