The electoral assembly was held this Saturday at the Club Los Prados.\n\nSoriano, who previously was part of the national fencing team and currently presides over the Dominican Sports Law Association, obtained eight votes in the electoral process. This allowed him to secure the leadership of the federation for the next four years.\n\nThe assembly was led by journalist Juan Mercado, accompanied by jurists Richard Mart\u00ednez and C\u00e9sar Alc\u00e1ntara, who formed the Electoral Commission.
