The event recognized the most outstanding players and the champion team of the championship.\n\nThe Guachupita Eagles were crowned champions after defeating the San Carlos club with a score of 3-0 in the final series, played to the best of five games. The awards ceremony was held in the Juan Ulises Garc\u00eda Saleta (Wiche) hall of the Dominican Olympic Committee (COD), where they received the Seaboard Cup &#8220;Clean Energy&#8221;.\n\nThe trophy presentation featured the participation of Wendy Castillo, executive of Seaboard &#8220;Clean Energy&#8221;; athlete Mia Liberato, from the national youth volleyball team; and \u00c1ngel De la Cruz, president of the Presidential Commission for Support to Provincial Development.\n\nThe event was led by Roberto Ram\u00edrez, president of Fedoclubes, accompanied by Garibaldy Bautista, president of the COD, and deputies Olfanny M\u00e9ndez and Melissa S\u00e1nchez, coordinators of the Sports and Youth commissions of the Chamber of Deputies, respectively.\n\nImportant figures from the sports field were also present at the event, such as Augusto Mart\u00ednez, president of the Santo Domingo Province Sports Union (Udeprosado), and Jos\u00e9 Esteban Borrom\u00e9, director of the Dominican Basketball Federation (Fedombal).\n\nZuleyda Monsac, president of the \u00c1guilas de Guachupita club, along with leader Luis Rojas, captain Sugey Monsac, coach Edwin Am\u00edlcar Gonz\u00e1lez Leyba, and the team&#8217;s players, received the cup.\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Individual Recognitions<\/h2>\n\n\nRegarding individual recognitions, Dioribel Rodr\u00edguez, from the San Carlos club, was named Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the regular season. Mary Coronado, from the \u00c1guilas de Guachupita, won the MVP award of the final series.\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Vanessa Bautista, from Las Laguneras de San Crist\u00f3bal, led the scoring department.<\/li>\n<li>Nayeli Morillo, also from Las Laguneras, topped the assists.<\/li>\n<li>Ana\u00eds Villanueva, from San Carlos, was the best in rebounds.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\nOther outstanding awards went to Stacy Vargas, from Las Din\u00e1micas de Los Alcarrizos, as Most Disciplined Player; Dannilys Guerrero, from Las Turistas del Este (El Seibo), as Rookie of the Year; and Miguelina Batista, also from Las Turistas, as leader in stolen balls.\n\nArisleidy Tolentino, from San Carlos, was recognized as Defender of the Year; Leslie Rivera, from the Yamas\u00e1 Elites, as the best three-point shooter; and Ernesto Rosario (Yeyeo), from the Elites, received the award as Leader of the Year.\n\nThe award highlights Fedoclubes&#8217; commitment to supporting and recognizing female talent in national basketball.","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Guachupita Eagles win the title in the 2025 Women&#8217;s Superior Tournament The Dominican Federation of Clubs (Fedoclubes) held the awards ceremony for the XII Women&#8217;s Superior Basketball Tournament 2025, dedicated to &#8220;No Gender Violence&#8221;.
