Previously, he was assistant general manager during his first two years in Ottawa.\n\nHis arrival is part of a restructuring in the management of the Islanders, who last month named Mathieu Darche as general manager.\n\nThe Islanders failed to qualify for the playoffs in the 2024-25 season, after recording a 35-35-12 record, totaling 82 points.
