The event, which took place on the tracks of Bayaguana and La Romana, served as a platform to identify the most outstanding athletes.\n\nThe athletes who achieved the best marks in this championship will be considered to be part of the national pre-selections. These pre-selections will prepare for the upcoming Central American and Caribbean Games, as well as for the National Athletics Championship.\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>We are focused on the Central American Games where we will bring our best to the track to raise the tricolor flag in the regional event.<\/p><cite>President of the Athletics Federation<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nIn addition to the classification for international events, the championship also served as preparation for the National Superior Championship, jointly organized by the Athletics Federation and the provincial associations.\n\nIn the team competition, the province of La Romana stood out by accumulating a total of 177 points, leading the general table. El Seibo was positioned in second place with 128 points, followed by San Pedro de Macor\u00eds.
