Haliburton acknowledged the frustration of the defeat, but emphasized the group’s resilience.\n\nIt’s a frustrating loss, but I have a lot of faith in ourselves. We have to be ready to fight for all 48 minutes. It will be a challenge, but this group has been resilient all year. I wouldn’t want to go to war with any other group.\n\nThe Thunder outscored the Pacers 31-17 in the final quarter, intensifying their defense and limiting the Pacers to a single free throw in the final minutes. Coach Rick Carlisle highlighted the difficulty imposed by the Thunder, pointing out the lack of rebounds and the difficulty in making key stops.\n\n

The inability to get rebounds, the inability to make key stops was part of it, and then we stalled too much. We have to be ready to play. For us to win, we will have to win one there. We have a couple of days to reflect on this, watch videos and see where we can improve. Gilgeous-Alexander, who had no assists, scored 35 points on 12 of 24 shooting and made all 10 free throws.<\/p>\n\n

We just did our job of being annoying, playing hard, trying to mix up different players and just make it as difficult as possible for him. It’s arduous. But it’s the greatest opportunity there is. It’s really difficult, and it’s supposed to be difficult. This is where we’ll have to push ourselves and close ranks and come back stronger on Monday.
