{"id":106803,"date":"2026-02-04T13:39:58","date_gmt":"2026-02-04T17:39:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/alofokedeportes.com\/en\/sin-categoria\/kelvin-cruz-starts-remodeling-of-the-multipurpose-piedra-blanca-rd21-4-million\/"},"modified":"2026-02-04T13:39:58","modified_gmt":"2026-02-04T17:39:58","slug":"kelvin-cruz-starts-remodeling-of-the-multipurpose-piedra-blanca-rd21-4-million","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/alofokedeportes.com\/en\/nationals\/kelvin-cruz-starts-remodeling-of-the-multipurpose-piedra-blanca-rd21-4-million\/","title":{"rendered":"Kelvin Cruz Starts Remodeling of the Multipurpose Piedra Blanca: RD$21.4 Million"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Minister Kelvin Cruz Kicks Off the Remodeling of the Multipurpose Hall in Piedra Blanca<\/h2>\n\n\n<strong>Monsignor Nouel.<\/strong> The Minister of Sports, Kelvin Cruz, led on Wednesday the start of the renovation work of the Multipurpose Hall of Piedra Blanca, in this province, with an investment of RD$21,423,872.\n\nThis initiative is part of the sports infrastructure improvement plan promoted by the government of President Luis Abinader throughout the country.\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>We have come to continue the sports revolution that we are carrying out from the Ministry of Sports throughout the national territory, and Piedra Blanca could not be the exception.<\/p><cite>Kelvin Cruz, Minister of Sports<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nMinister Cruz highlighted that the roof, which shows an advanced level of deterioration, will be completely renovated for the benefit of the local community.\n\nThe remodeling work covers an area of 1,507.37 square meters and will include:\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Renovation of the play area with professional scoreboards certified by FIBA.<\/li><li>Installation of digital scoreboards and a 24-second clock.<\/li><li>Installation of synthetic flooring for various sports disciplines.<\/li><li>Remodeling of administrative offices, bathrooms, changing rooms, and cafeteria.<\/li><li>Repair and maintenance of the metal structure and the electrical system.<\/li><li>Supply and installation of metal straps and aluzinc on the roof.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\nThe project also includes cement work with chain-link mesh, general painting, and the construction of a large cistern.\n\nIn the ceremony, provincial authorities were present, including Governor Adela Tejada Gil, mayors Pedro Contreras Burgos and Eberto N\u00fa\u00f1ez N\u00fa\u00f1ez, and Vice Minister Samuel Taveras.\n\nThe act was blessed by the priest Silvano Gonz\u00e1lez.","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Minister Kelvin Cruz Kicks Off the Remodeling of the Multipurpose Hall in Piedra Blanca Monsignor Nouel.
