The event, which attracted more than 500 competitors, had a significant impact on tourism and the economy of the northern region of the country.\n\nThe competition began in Santo Domingo, completing its first stage in Santiago, where the participants made a stop at the Second Brigade of the National Army. The next day, the rally continued its route from Santiago to Constanza, including the emblematic Valle Nuevo National Park.\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>Valle Nuevo had not been crossed in the last six years due to an environmental resolution.<\/p><cite>Event organization<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nThe authorization from the Ministry of Environment, led by Paino Henr\u00edquez, made it possible to complete the tour, complying with all environmental protection regulations.\n\nThe 2026 edition of the &#8220;El Tri\u00e1ngulo&#8221; Rally set a participation record, establishing itself as one of the most attended events of its kind in the country.
