With this victory, the Dominicans maintain their undefeated record in the tournament.\n\nLeft-hander Enny Romero was key in the triumph, pitching five solid innings and allowing only three hits. This performance led the Dominican Republic to their second victory without defeats (2-0), positioning them at the top of the table.\n\nPuerto Rico, for its part, now has a record of 1-1.\n\nThe Lions&#8217; offense ignited from the start, scoring three runs in the first inning against starting pitcher Daryl Thompson. Gustavo N\u00fa\u00f1ez, S\u00f3crates Brito, and Junior Lake led the attack, with Lake driving in the first run.\n\nCristian Adames hit a double that drove in two runs, and Aderlin Rodriguez contributed with a sacrifice fly.\n\nIn the second inning, Erik Gonz\u00e1lez drove in another run with a double.
