Justin Rose leads the Farmers Insurance Open with an impressive round of 62<\/h2>\n\n\nSan Diego – Justin Rose showcased his excellent form on the North Course at Torrey Pines, achieving an outstanding round of 62 strokes, 10 under par, at the Farmers Insurance Open. This performance gave him a one-stroke lead over his competitors.\n\nRose, who had birdie opportunities on almost every hole except one, showed a solid game. Despite not getting birdies on two of the par 5s, his performance was notable.\n\nJustin Lower, whose focus was on his wife about to give birth to twins, also had an outstanding performance with a round of 63 on the North Course.\n\nHideki Matsuyama and Max Greyserman also shone, both with rounds of 64 strokes.\n\nS\u00e9amus Power achieved the best score on the South Course, with 65 strokes. This course, known for hosting two U.S. Opens, presented a greater challenge, with an average of 72.482 strokes. The average on the North Course was 69.139.\n\n\n

“The North Course is clearly a course where you want to take full advantage and it’s great to do it today,” Rose commented.<\/p>\n\nJustin Rose<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nIn his last hole, Rose made par after finding a bunker, but managed to get out and be close to the hole, although he missed the putt for birdie. His only moment of difficulty was on the 14th hole, of 451 yards, but he kept a clean card.\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\nJustin Lower, who lost his full status on the PGA Tour, made the most of his opportunity at Torrey Pines. With his mind on his wife, who is about to give birth to twins, Lower expressed his desire to return home to support his family.\n\n\n

“To be honest, my mind isn’t really here. My wife is 34 weeks pregnant with twins and I’m trying to get home on Monday to help with whatever I can,” Lower said.<\/p>\n\nJustin Lower<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nXander Schauffele, who was born near Torrey Pines, returned to competition after winning in Japan last fall. Schauffele, with a streak of consecutive cuts, had a difficult start on the South Course, but managed to recover and finish with a round of 73 strokes.\n\n\n

“I’m happy with the fight,” Schauffele said. “But I only hit three fairways, and the North Course is also difficult from the rough.
