The event was full of emotion and pride, in anticipation of the Leones&#8217; participation in the 2026 Caribbean Series, which will be held in Jalisco, Mexico.\n\nDuring the meeting, President Abinader expressed his congratulations to the board, the coaching staff, and the players. He highlighted the importance of the team representing the Dominican Republic in the Caribbean tournament.\n\nAbinader joined the celebration wearing the scarlet jersey and encouraging the players to maintain the same level of commitment demonstrated in the local tournament. He assured that they now have the support of the entire nation.\n\nAs part of the ceremony, the president officially presented the National Flag to the team representatives. This gesture symbolizes the patriotic commitment with which the Lions will travel to Mexico.
