The Imported Draft, held this Tuesday, defined the players that will strengthen both teams in the search for the title.\n\nThe Leones del Escogido chose pitchers Matt Foster and Luis Fernando Miranda. For their part, the Toros del Este selected Nabil Crismatt and Odrisamer Despaigne.\n\nAll the players selected belonged to the \u00c1guilas Cibae\u00f1as during the recent Round Robin, now reinforcing the teams qualified for the final.\n\n<h3>Outstanding Performance of Selected Pitchers<\/h3>\n\nMatt Foster, right-handed reliever for the Lions, had an outstanding performance in the semifinal series. He recorded an ERA of 3.00, a WHIP of 1.00, and an opponents&#8217; batting average of .182. In three innings pitched, he allowed two hits, one earned run, walked one, struck out one batter, and earned two saves.\n\nLuis Fernando Miranda, also a right-handed pitcher, demonstrated his dominance with an effectiveness of 1.50 and a WHIP of 0.33 during the Round Robin. In six innings, he allowed only two hits, one earned run, did not concede walks, and struck out seven rivals, strengthening the Lions&#8217; starting rotation.\n\nThe Toros del Este added Nabil Crismatt, who did not see action in the semifinal, and Odrisamer Despaigne, who had an ERA of 3.18 and a WHIP of 0.88 in the Round Robin.
