This resulted in his withdrawal from a scheduled bout against Valter Walker.\n\nAccording to the CSAD, Usman, 36, later admitted to using testosterone and a banned peptide, BPC-157.\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>Usman&#8217;s admission of using prohibited substances came after he made false statements to the CSAD, according to the testing agency.<\/p><cite>CSAD<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nDue to Usman&#8217;s attempt to &#8220;deceive the CSAD with a false explanation&#8221;, six additional months were added to the standard two-year suspension for testosterone use, resulting in a total suspension of 30 months.\n\nThe suspension is retroactive to October 9, 2025 and will end on April 9, 2028.\n\nUsman, who trains in Florida, was a contestant on the series &#8220;The Ultimate Fighter&#8221; and has a 4-3 record in the UFC.","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mohammed Usman Receives 30-Month Suspension for Doping UFC heavyweight Mohammed Usman has been suspended for 30 months due to the intentional use of testosterone, as announced by the Combat Sports Anti-Doping Agency on Thursday.
