The activity, organized by the Dominican Baseball Federation (FEDOM) and the management of the Dominican team that will participate in the next World Baseball Classic, was supported by Major League Baseball (MLB).\n\nThe event is part of an ambitious comprehensive development and training program for children and young people, seeking to sow the seeds of the future of Dominican baseball.\n\n

Present Baseball Figures<\/h2>\n\nThe clinic was attended by prominent figures from baseball. Nelson Cruz, general manager of the Dominican team, and Albert Pujols, manager of the Quisqueyan squad, led the activity along with the president of FEDOM, Juan N\u00fa\u00f1ez. The day was filled with enthusiasm, teachings, and moments of deep emotion for the young participants.\n\nAmong those present were former players of the stature of George Bell and Edwin Encarnaci\u00f3n, along with active players such as Emilio Bonifacio, Bryant de la Cruz, Robinson Can\u00f3, Christopher S\u00e1nchez, Jarl\u00edn Garc\u00eda and Joely Rodr\u00edguez.\n\nAlso participating were Jos\u00e9 Can\u00f3, coach of the champion team of the 2013 World Classic, and Major League coaches Carlos Febles and H\u00e9ctor Borg.\n\n\n

A Special Moment: Fernando Tatis Jr.<\/h2>\n\n\nA particularly emotional moment was experienced when the name of Fernando Tatis Jr. was mentioned, which unleashed a widespread ovation among the children. This gesture reflected the impact and admiration that these idols generate in the new generations of baseball players.\n\n\n

Learning and Fun on the Field<\/h2>\n\n\nDuring the clinic, the children participated in various work stations, where they learned the fundamentals of baseball. They received direct instruction on batting, fielding, pitching, base running, and discipline in the game, from the hands of baseball players and former players.\n\nThe day culminated with a lively home run derby, which filled the young participants with joy and excitement.\n\n

Last week we impacted Ban\u00ed with the ten provinces of the South and today we are in San Pedro de Macor\u00eds impacting the six provinces of the East.<\/p>Juan N\u00fa\u00f1ez, president of FEDOM<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\nJuan N\u00fa\u00f1ez, president of FEDOM, thanked the participation of the baseball figures and highlighted the scope of the program.\n\n

This is an event that seeks to give children tools so they can develop in baseball and in life in general.
