Real Madrid will always be his home,&#8221; the statement says.<\/p>\n\n<cite>Real Madrid<\/cite>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\nReal Madrid expressed its gratitude to Xabi Alonso and his coaching staff for the seven months of work since his return to the club as a coach.\n\nXabi Alonso arrived at Real Madrid after his successful spell at Bayer Leverkusen, taking charge for the Club World Cup last June.\n\nHis debut was with a draw against Al-Hilal, followed by four victories in the tournament, before falling in the semifinals against PSG (4-0).\n\nIn the current season, the team was in second position in LaLiga EA Sports, four points behind Barcelona, qualified for the Champions League group stage and in the round of 16 of the Copa del Rey.
