Washington Commanders cornerback Marshon Lattimore was arrested on Wednesday outside of Cleveland, Ohio, on suspicion of carrying a concealed weapon, according to police records.<\/p>\n
The arrest of Lattimore occurred after a traffic stop in Lakewood, Ohio, at 6:14 p.m. on Wednesday, according to police. He was booked into jail but subsequently released. The matter remains under investigation.<\/p>\n
The police report, which lists a 9mm Glock as evidence, includes a second possible charge for improper handling of firearms in a motor vehicle.<\/p>\n

In March 2021, Lattimore was also arrested in Cleveland and initially charged with a felony for receiving a stolen firearm. The felony charge was later dismissed, but Lattimore pleaded guilty to carrying a concealed weapon, a misdemeanor. He received one year of probation and a suspended jail sentence of 180 days.<\/p>\n
Lattimore has spent the last 1 and a half seasons with the Commanders, who acquired him in a trade with the New Orleans Saints last season. He only played five games with Washington, including the playoffs, due to a hamstring injury.<\/p>\n
Lattimore tore his ACL on November 3 and missed the rest of the season. Washington can save $18.5 million by releasing Lattimore.<\/p>\n
