The election was based on a vote by a jury of 69 sports communicators nationwide.\n\nGuzm\u00e1n led the voting with a total of 284 points, obtained thanks to 48 first-place votes, 13 second-place votes, and five third-place votes. His performance surpassed that of Jes\u00fas Mej\u00eda, general manager of the Toros del Este, who obtained 228 points, including 19 first-place votes.\n\nThe executive of the \u00c1guilas Cibae\u00f1as received support in 66 ballots, consolidating their victory after the outstanding performance of the team, which dominated the regular season of the tournament dedicated to don Juan Marichal and in option for the Copa Banreservas.\n\nIn the voting, Jaylon Pimentel, general manager of the Gigantes del Cibao, with 70 points, and Carlos Pe\u00f1a, of the Leones del Escogido, with 39 points, also participated, completing the list of finalists.\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Evaluation Criteria<\/h2>\n\n\nThe Executive of the Year award recognizes the most outstanding managerial and strategic management of the championship.
