The women’s 3×3 basketball league, led by Napheesa Collier and Breanna Stewart, is preparing for its second season with a featured event in Philadelphia. On January 30, 2026, the Xfinity Mobile Arena, home of the NBA’s 76ers and the NHL’s Flyers, will be the scene of two exciting matchups. The teams will compete under the standard league format. The league will unveil the participating teams in November, when the full schedule is published. This event marks the first official stop of the league and represents the return of professional women’s basketball to Philadelphia since 1998.Unrivaled’s main headquarters will remain the Wayfair Arena in Miami, where the inaugural season matches were played, which ended in March. The league has announced the expansion from six to eight teams and has secured greater investment, raising its valuation to $340 million before its second season. Numerous WNBA stars have confirmed their participation in the second season, including Collier, Stewart, Brittney Griner, and Alyssa Thomas. Among the new additions are Paige Bueckers, Kelsey Plum, and Sonia Citron. The league reported that 46 of the 48 roster spots are already filled, generating anticipation about the stars who will complete the teams. On social media, there is speculation about the possible participation of Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese, who did not play in the inaugural season. Clare Duwelius, general manager of Unrivaled, commented: “We are in productive negotiations with some players who need a little more time. We are committed to giving our athletes the space to make important decisions on their own terms. We still have two positions on the rosters and are eager to announce who will fill them soon.”“This innovative league is intended to elevate the entire women’s basketball ecosystem. We are honored that Philadelphia has been chosen as its first stop,” stated Wanda Sykes, comedian and actress, and investor in Unrivaled.
