Unrivaled: Women’s 3×3 Basketball League Comes to Philadelphia

The exciting women’s 3×3 basketball league, led by Napheesa Collier and Breanna Stewart, is preparing for its second season with a special stop in Philadelphia. The event, scheduled for January 30, 2026 at the Xfinity Mobile Arena, home of the NBA’s 76ers and the NHL’s Flyers, will feature matchups between four teams under the league’s standard format. The participating teams will be announced in November, when the complete Unrivaled schedule is published. This “tour stop” will mark the return of professional women’s basketball to Philadelphia since 1998.

This innovative league is intended to elevate the women’s basketball ecosystem as a whole, and we are honored that Philadelphia has been chosen as its first tour stop.

Although Unrivaled’s main headquarters will remain the Wayfair Arena in Miami, with a capacity of 850 spectators, this initiative is part of the league’s long-term sustainability strategy, driven in part by its commitment to fans. The league has announced the expansion from six to eight teams and has secured greater investment, raising its valuation to $340 million before its second season. WNBA stars like Collier, Stewart, Brittney Griner, and Alyssa Thomas have already confirmed their participation in the second season. In addition, new figures such as Paige Bueckers, Kelsey Plum, and Sonia Citron are added. The league reported that 46 of the 48 roster spots are already filled, leaving fans expectant to know the last stars that will join. On social media, speculation centers on Caitlin Clark, who did not participate in the inaugural season, and Angel Reese, who contributed to Rose BC’s victory in the league’s first championship. Neither of them has officially confirmed their participation.

We are in productive negotiations with some players who need a little more time, and we are committed to giving our athletes the space to make important decisions on their own. We still have two spots on the roster and are eager to announce who will fill them soon.
