ARLINGTON, Texas – Dallas Wings forward Maddy Siegrist is in the process of recovering from a right knee injury.
The injury, which will not require surgery, will keep her off the courts for a while.
Siegrist suffered the injury during Wednesday’s match against Phoenix.
According to reports from the Wings on Monday, the third-year player will make a full recovery and is expected to return to action “later this season”.
Siegrist’s diagnosis reveals a fracture of the anterolateral tibial plateau.
Dallas selected Siegrist with the third overall pick in the 2023 draft. In the 11 games played this season, he averages 9.4 points and 5.2 rebounds per game.
Last month, the Wings exercised Siegrist’s fourth-year contract option for next season.
