Cheyenne Parker-Tyus Joins Las Vegas Aces After Pregnancy Absence

Las Vegas Aces activated Cheyenne Parker-Tyus this Monday, who had not participated in the season due to her pregnancy.

Parker-Tyus is expected to play in Tuesday’s final home game against the Chicago Sky. NaLyssa Smith (concussion) is questionable for the game.

Parker-Tyus, with 11 years of experience, has averaged 9.1 points and 5.1 rebounds playing for the Sky and Dream teams. She was an All-Star in 2023, achieving career highs with 15.0 points and 6.7 rebounds. Last season, she averaged 9.2 points and 4.8 rebounds in 25 games with Atlanta.

The player signed with the Aces knowing she would miss a large part of the season due to her pregnancy. Parker-Tyus, 33, gave birth to her son, Yoshua, on July 1st.

Joins the Aces with two games remaining in the season. The team has achieved a record-breaking streak of 14 consecutive wins, tying for the fourth-best record in WNBA history, and could be the second seed for the playoffs.
