ESPN Africa Secures Exclusive FIBA Broadcast Rights
Alofoke Deportes reports on the four-year agreement that will allow ESPN Africa to broadcast more than 1,500 international basketball games, providing fans with unprecedented coverage. The partnership between ESPN Africa and the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) ensures the broadcast of key events from 2025 to 2029. This agreement includes coverage of world-renowned tournaments, such as the FIBA Basketball World Cups (men’s and women’s), Continental Cups, and Youth World Cups. Fans will be able to enjoy the participation of numerous national teams in important tournaments and qualifiers, including the FIBA AfroBasket men’s and women’s, the FIBA Basketball World Cup for men and women, and Olympic qualifying events.
