Napheesa Collier Returns to the Court with the Lynx

Minnesota Lynx forward Napheesa Collier has been reinstated to the starting lineup for the matchup against the Indiana Fever, marking her return after missing the last seven games due to a right ankle sprain.

Before her injury, Collier was shaping up as the leading MVP candidate, averaging 23.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 1.8 steals (third in the league) and 1.6 blocks (fourth) per game. Her absence began on August 2nd.

During that period, the Lynx achieved a 5-2 record, losing consecutively against the New York Liberty and the Atlanta Dream. Despite this, Minnesota maintains a 5.5-game lead over the Atlanta Dream in the standings and is the only team that has secured a playoff spot so far.
