Caitlin Clark Ready for a Comeback… to Golf!

Basketball star Caitlin Clark is preparing for a return to action, but this time, on the golf course. After a season marked by injuries in the WNBA, Clark will participate in the pro-am of The Annika tournament on the LPGA Tour next month.

I had an incredible experience at The Annika last November, participating in the pro-am alongside Nelly Korda and Annika Sorenstam, two of the best in the game.

The pro-am will take place on November 12 at the Pelican Golf Club and will be open to the public. Clark, who had just finished her first season in the WNBA and was named Rookie of the Year, drew a large crowd and generated a lot of excitement last year. The Annika is the penultimate tournament on the LPGA schedule. Clark has a corporate relationship with Gainbridge Insurance, the main sponsor. The second season of Clark in the WNBA was affected by injuries. She only played 13 games and was ruled out for the rest of the season on September 4 due to a groin injury. The Indiana Fever made the playoffs, but were eliminated by the Las Vegas Aces in the semifinals.
