Caitlin Clark Ready for a Comeback… on the Golf Course!

The basketball star, Caitlin Clark, is preparing for a new challenge, but this time, away from the court. The player, known for her skill in the WNBA, will make her return to action, but on the golf course. After a season marked by injuries, which forced her to an early closure in the WNBA, Clark will participate in the pro-am of The Annika tournament, an LPGA Tour event, next month.

“I had an incredible experience at The Annika last November and participating in the pro-am alongside Nelly Korda and Annika Sorenstam, two of the best in the game,” Clark commented.

The pro-am, scheduled for November 12 at the Pelican Golf Club, will be open to the public. Last year, after her first season in the WNBA and being named Rookie of the Year, Clark attracted a large crowd and generated great enthusiasm. The Annika is the penultimate tournament on the LPGA schedule. Clark maintains a corporate relationship with Gainbridge Insurance, the main sponsor. The second season of Clark in the WNBA was affected by injuries. She played only 13 games and was ruled out for the rest of the season on September 4 due to a groin injury. The Indiana Fever, despite reaching the playoffs, were eliminated by the Las Vegas Aces in the semifinals.
