Jannik Sinner Crowned ATP Finals Champion Against Carlos Alcaraz
TURIN, Italy – Jannik Sinner claimed victory in the final edition of the “Sincaraz” rivalry of 2025.
The Italian tennis player, number two in the world, defeated Carlos Alcaraz, who holds the first position in the ranking, with a score of 7-6 (4), 7-5. This match in the final of the ATP Finals on Sunday marked the sixth encounter between both players this year, solidifying his dominance in men’s tennis.
Sinner, defending the title in front of his home crowd, achieved his second victory of the year over Alcaraz, after also defeating him in the Wimbledon final.
Alcaraz, already assured as number one at the end of the year, was playing his first final in this event that brings together the eight best players of the season.
