The legendary Williams sisters, Serena and Venus, make the leap into the world of podcasting.
Serena, who ended her career at the 2022 US Open, and Venus, still active on the circuit, will launch their podcast “Stockton Street” on Wednesday on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter.
The podcast, which is named after the street where they grew up in Compton, California, will air every two weeks on Wednesdays.
The inaugural episode was recorded at Arthur Ashe Stadium, the emblematic stage of the US Open, where Serena won six of her 23 individual Grand Slam titles and Venus obtained two of her seven.
Venus, at 45 years old, recently became the oldest player to compete in singles at the US Open since 1981. Her return to competition came in July, after a 16-month absence.
