Serena and Venus Williams Launch a Podcast
The legendary tennis sisters and stars, Serena and Venus Williams, venture into the world of podcasting. After a successful career in professional tennis, the sisters embark on a new project that promises to captivate their followers. Serena Williams, who concluded her career at the 2022 US Open, and Venus, who recently competed in the same tournament in singles, women’s doubles, and mixed doubles, will launch their podcast this Wednesday on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter. The podcast, titled “Stockton Street”, refers to the location of his home in Compton, California. Episodes will air bi-weekly on Wednesdays and will be available on the platform.The first episode was recorded at Arthur Ashe Stadium, the main court of the US Open, where Serena won six of her 23 Grand Slam singles titles and Venus won two of her seven.
Venus, at 45 years old, recently became the oldest singles participant at the US Open since 1981. She returned to the tennis circuit in July after a 16-month absence.
