British tennis player Jack Draper has made a strategic change in his technical team, marking a new stage in his career.
Jamie Delgado Leads the Technical Team
Draper, current number one of Great Britain, has decided to incorporate Jamie Delgado as head coach. Delgado, known for his work with Andy Murray, will assume a key role in the team, accompanying Draper in most tournaments. This decision implies a significant change in the team’s structure, as James Trotman, who has been a constant figure in Draper’s trajectory, will continue to be involved, but Delgado will take the reins as head coach. Delgado, a former British Davis Cup player and holder of the record for consecutive Wimbledon appearances with 23, worked with Murray from 2016, initially alongside Ivan Lendl, during the most successful period of the Scot’s career. Delgado’s experience on the professional circuit is notable. In addition to his work with Murray, he has also coached Denis Shapovalov and Grigor Dimitrov, who have praised his impact on their respective careers. Delgado’s incorporation comes after Draper’s collaboration with Dimitrov came to an end last month.
