Jhon Arias, in his time at the Club World Cup, played six matches, including the match where Fluminense fell 2-0 to Chelsea, who would eventually be champions. The Wolves have reached an agreement with Fluminense to sign Colombian winger Jhon Arias, according to sources. The Brazilian club will receive 22 million euros (25.5 million pounds) for 90% of Arias’s sporting rights. Fluminense will retain 10% of a future sale, as well as a preferential clause if the forward decides to return to play in Brazil.

Arias, 27 years old, participated in Fluminense’s six matches at the Club World Cup this summer, scoring a goal and providing an assist. The Colombian international has scored 47 goals and provided 55 assists in 229 matches with Fluminense since joining the club in August 2021. Winner of the Copa Libertadores in 2023, Arias could play his last match with Fluminense against Cruzeiro at the Maracanã on July 17.
