United States Defines Its Upcoming International Friendlies

The United States national team is preparing to face its last two friendly matches of the year, taking advantage of the dates designated by FIFA for international matches. The rivals will be Paraguay and Uruguay. The first match will be against Paraguay on November 15 in Chester, Pennsylvania. Three days later, the U.S. team will face Uruguay in Tampa, Florida, according to the U.S. Soccer Federation.

Both Paraguay and Uruguay have already secured their qualification for the next World Cup. The United States, as co-host, has a guaranteed spot in the tournament. Previously, the United States faced South Korea in Harrison, New Jersey. Next, they will play against Japan on Tuesday in Columbus, Ohio, followed by matches against Ecuador on October 10 in Austin, Texas, and Australia three days later in Commerce City, Colorado. Two additional friendly matches are scheduled for March, before coach Mauricio Pochettino calls up the players for pre-World Cup training in June.
