Tottenham Hotspur Seeks New Manager Following Postecoglou’s Departure

Tottenham Hotspur is looking for a new manager following the recent dismissal of Ange Postecoglou. According to sources close to the club, the board has already drawn up a list of candidates to fill the position.

Among the names that are being mentioned are Thomas Frank, current coach of Brentford, and Marco Silva, who manages Fulham. In addition, Andoni Iraola, from Bournemouth, is also being considered.

Postecoglou, despite having achieved the club’s first title in 17 years and securing Champions League qualification, was dismissed after a season with inconsistent performance in the Premier League.

Candidates in the Spotlight

Thomas Frank has excelled at Brentford since achieving promotion to the Premier League in the 2020-21 season. His work with a limited budget and the development of key players like Bryan Mbeumo and Yoane Wissa are aspects that have drawn attention. Marco Silva, with previous experience in the Premier League with Hull City, Watford and Everton, achieved Fulham’s promotion in 2021-22. His ability to establish the team in the division is a relevant factor. Andoni Iraola, for his part, has surprised at Bournemouth, surpassing Brentford and Fulham last season, with notable victories against teams like Arsenal, Manchester City, Tottenham, Manchester United, and Newcastle United.
