Tottenham Hotspur has finalized the incorporation of midfielder Mohammed Kudus, coming from West Ham United, as announced by the clubs this Thursday.

Sources indicate that Premier League teams agreed on a fee close to £55 million (approximately $74.7 million), with the Ghanaian international signing a six-year contract.

Kudus, 24, had an £85 million release clause in his contract, which could only be activated by other Premier League clubs. However, West Ham were willing to let him go for a lower fee.

Kudus, who was previously on Chelsea’s radar, joined West Ham in 2023 from Ajax and became a prime target for new Spurs coach Thomas Frank this summer.

Played 80 games for West Ham, scoring 19 goals and providing 13 assists.
