Endrick, out of action until September due to injury
Real Madrid forward Endrick will miss the start of the season due to a new injury. According to sources close to the club, the Brazilian player is expected to be out until mid-September.
Endrick, 19, has suffered hamstring problems in recent months, which prevented him from participating in the end of the LaLiga season and the Club World Cup.
His last match with Real Madrid was against Sevilla on May 18, where he suffered a hamstring injury in his right leg.
Although he was not expected to participate in the tournament in the United States, he joined the team in the training camp, but suffered another hamstring problem.
Sources indicate that his recovery has been affected by a new setback, which could keep him out of action for eight to ten weeks.
Endrick will miss the first four LaLiga matches against Osasuna, Real Oviedo, Mallorca and Real Sociedad.
He will also miss the first international break of the season, where Brazil will face Chile and Bolivia.
Endrick se perderá los partidos de clasificación de la CONMEBOL con Brasil en septiembre.Endrick is not expected to leave Real Madrid during this summer transfer window, not even on loan, despite the interest of several clubs.
This happens despite the growing competition in Madrid’s forward line after the outstanding performance of Gonzalo García, who scored four goals in the Club World Cup, alongside stars like Kylian Mbappé and Vinícius Júnior.
Coach Xabi Alonso has expressed his confidence in Endrick’s contribution this season, describing his evolution as a “natural process”.
Endrick was a substitute in several Real Madrid matches last season, participating in 22 LaLiga matches, playing 354 minutes and scoring one goal. He also scored a goal in the Champions League and five in the Copa del Rey.
