Pulisic, out due to injury at Milan

AC Milan confirmed this Friday the injury of Christian Pulisic, who suffered a hamstring problem in his right leg while playing with the United States national team. A statement from the Italian club reported that an MRI revealed a “low-grade injury” in the hamstring. Pulisic will be re-evaluated in approximately ten days. This type of injury is expected to heal in about three weeks, which could allow his return for the derby against Inter Milan on November 23. Pulisic has been a key figure for Milan this season, who are currently in third place in Serie A.
The player appeared to suffer the injury in the first half of the friendly against Australia, which the United States won 2-1. The United States has friendlies scheduled for November 15 and 18 against Paraguay and Uruguay, teams qualified for the 2026 World Cup. The American team will co-host the tournament with Canada and Mexico. The United States’ next official match will be the opening match of the World Cup on June 12 at SoFi Stadium, near Los Angeles. The opponent will be known at the tournament draw on December 5 in Washington D.C.
